Artist's Statement
I find it amazing how our childhood experiences can shape who we are today.
As far as I can remember, I've always been passionate about the outdoors and photography. My interests range from Water Photography to Agriculture and anything in between. Lately, I've been experimenting with ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photography. I'm always experimenting with new subject matter, ideas and techniques to expand and advance my work.
My goal is to create artwork for myself and for others to enjoy!
Old Farm Tractors: They all have a story to tell, whether it's about teaching someone to drive or farming. They have a history within a family. Sometimes they are left for shorter periods after finishing a farming task or for longer term. You'll see them where they have broken down alongside a road or on the edge of a field. Through my artwork, I would like to tell the next chapter of their story.
Water: The fluid of life! It has many characters. After a good rain or spring runoff, the stream or river can be a raging torrent, having the power to move very heavy objects. It can also be in a very peaceful or melancholic mood.
